Nu Disco or Future Disco?

What should we call be calling this? Nu-Disco or Future Disco? These funky releases have been booming big last year and 2010 promises to be an even more disco-ish year.
The lovely track by Tensnake above is featured on the second Future Disco compilation alongside Faze Action, Illja Rudman, Juan Maclean, Todd Terje, Dj Koze and many others. Check it out here and here (DWNLD)

Or maybe you should download this FREE Disco Circus compilation by MiGHty mOUsE. These two brothers are UK's own answer to Aeroplane. They came out of nowhere last year with various remixes and own productions and will definitely become big in 2010. Their compilation was catapulted straight into the compilation top10 by Mixmag and mixes Nu Disco with edits of old Disco Classics. So get it here for free: Disco Circus CD1 & Disco Circus CD2

Birds Playing Guitar

This video makes me smile in these hard times. French artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot created this art-piece where birds are lured to land on and pluck at the strings of an electric guitar left outside. Check out that phat solo at about 0:45 secs!
